The Samuel Morris Foundation is Australia's only charity supporting children disabled by near drowning or other hypoxic brain injuries and preventing future drowning and disabilities through education and awareness.



Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for children aged 0-4, and many more children are disabled by non-fatal drowning. More young children are dying from drowning than in pedestrian and motor vehicle accidents combined.
